Decorative painter's paint REMAL Effect with a metallic and pearlescent appearance for decorating modern designs using various painting techniques such as brush or roller painting, spraying, sponging, and using painter's stencils. By mutually combining REMAL Effect colors with tinting pastes, you can create subtle, noble, and artistic wall appearances.

Thanks to endless combinations, utilizing different working processes, and the creator's improvisation, each result can be considered an original and unique piece of art. The optical properties of the decorative paint (brightness, sparkle, gloss, strength, depth, etc.) will manifest through appropriate use. The final appearance is also influenced by the shade of the applied base and especially by the lighting. Details are very effectively affected when light hits them or when viewed from different directions and angles. By utilizing contrast between light and dark, you gain a brighter and more vibrant surface full of freshness.

It is recommended for decorative coatings of all types of mineral plasters, wooden substrates, drywall, etc. in interiors and exteriors. It is suitable for decorative rollers, painter's lines, etc. In outdoor environments, it can be used only for short-term applications.

Example of application procedure for decorative gloss on wall:

The substrate must be flat and free of cracks, dry, sufficiently mature, solid, free of dust, old coatings, and loose particles. It must be free from biological infestation (mold, algae). Overly absorbent, crumbling, or
unstable substrates must be pre-treated (strengthened) with a suitable primer, such as REMAL, BARLET, or SOICRAT. Biological infestations (mold) must be eliminated with REMAL Sanal for masonry V1406.

The base coat for plaster is done with REMAL painter's paint or REMAL VINYL in various shades. Before application, the paint must be thoroughly mixed. Slight sedimentation is not a problem. The paint is diluted according to the application method in the ratio of 1 part paint to 0 – 1 part water. Other surfaces must be protected from contamination. Contaminated areas must be cleaned immediately, as dried paint is difficult to remove. The optimal application temperature is recommended to be between 15 and 25° C. The optimal relative humidity is 50 to 70 %. Increased humidity and lower temperatures can significantly affect the drying speed. Use products from one batch for cohesive areas; mix different batches together before use.

Handling decorative painter's gloss:

Follow basic hygiene rules while working. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, or for coatings on children's toys and children's furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical help.

The product is treated with a biocide. It contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). It may cause an allergic reaction.
Storage The product retains its usable properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture, in its original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of packaging and waste: decorative gloss REMAL Effect:

Dispose of packaging with product residues at the location designated by the municipality for collecting other waste. See section 13 of the product safety data sheet for more information.

You may need covering material, such as paper adhesive tape or covering film, possibly sandpaper. Don't forget brushes, rollers, spatulas, and scrapers.
