Lazurol Aqua v1303 thick-layer semi-matt wood varnish, 2 kg

LAZUROL Aqua V1303 is a semi-matt thick-layer wood varnish, it is water-based, colorless, intended for new and renovation coatings of wooden products, especially in outdoor environments.

It is suitable for all types of wood, and the surface film is perfectly elastic. The varnish is water-resistant, and the surface is non-sticky (antiblocking). It is not suitable for coatings of wooden floors and stairs. It contains an effective UV filter. It meets the requirements of ČSN EN 71 – 3, part 3: Toy safety. Migration of certain elements.

Properties of LAZUROL wood varnish

• For all types of wood with a dimensionally stable profile
• Interior and exterior environment
• Shades: Semi-matt, transparent varnish. Color shades in the TELURMIX system.
• Coverage 6 to 8 m²/kg
• Dilution with water
• Method of application: brush or spraying
• Not suitable for coatings of wooden floors and stairs.
• Contains an effective UV filter.

Example of wood varnish application procedure:

Dry raw wood (moisture max. 12%) sand with sandpaper no. 120 - 150, wash resin spots with thinner. For application on products for outdoor use, it is recommended to perform a priming coat containing fungicidal substances with LAZUROL AQUA IMPREGNATING V1314 or LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033 (using S1033 requires a technological pause of 48 hours).

After the primer is dry, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper no. 220 - 240 and remove dust. Before use, thoroughly mix the contents. Apply 2 - 3 times with a brush or spraying with an interval of 4 - 24 hours between individual coats depending on the temperature and humidity. After the first coat dries, it is advisable to sand with sandpaper no. 400. Recommended application temperature is 15 to 25 °C.

Warning for LAZUROL wood varnish:

This product is not suitable for coating floors and wood in permanently humid environments (e.g., saunas), wood treated with oils or waxes, or products containing waxes. Stacking and touching the coated surfaces should be tested under specific conditions. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, feed, and drinking water.
