Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for interior coatings (garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and highlights its grain. It provides long-term wood protection against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of a maximum of 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be completely stripped of all resin exudates, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for exterior use must first be treated with a suitable fungicide primer, which protects the wood from mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., using LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for interior use is preferably pre-treated with colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a colorless primer ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before further application of coatings. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper, and only then should the penetrating stain be applied. In renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of the old non-adhering layer, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one layer depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the previously prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already at application viscosity. During work, the staining lacquer should be stirred regularly. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for interior coatings. Coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For uniform highlighting of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

Always use material from the same production batch for solid areas. When using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final color shade, so it is recommended to perform a test coat before the final application. Claims regarding color shades will only be accepted when filed for the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coat made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 stain can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALK-ON VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain conditions.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX toning system.
