Lazurol S1119 boat varnish resistant varnish for wood colorless, glossy 750 ml

LAZUROL S1119 varnish is intended for decorative coatings of wooden construction elements exposed to moisture and water.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The varnish is intended for decorative glossy coatings of wooden construction elements, is highly resistant to moisture and water. It is characterized by excellent processability, long-term protection against weather influences, and stable gloss. The varnish particularly emphasizes the grain of the wood. It is suitable for coatings of garden furniture, sports equipment, cork, wall paneling in both interior and exterior.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with an increased resin content (larch, pine) must be previously stripped of all resin exudates, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.
The surface of the wood must first be impregnated with a suitable impregnator, which ensures uniform absorption of the substrate and greater protection of the wood (in the case of using a fungicidal impregnator, also protection against wood pests, fungi, and insects). Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper and only then should synthetic varnish be applied.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (brush, roller), thinner BALTECH S6001 (spraying)

Theoretical coverage: 14 - 17 m²/ l for one layer

WORKING PROCEDURE:

It is applied with a brush, roller, or by spraying after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate.
Wood coating
1. 1x coating with LAZUROL CLASSIC S 1023 glaze or fungicidal impregnator LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033
2. 2x coating with LAZUROL BOAT VARNISH S1119. The second and subsequent coats of varnish can be applied after 24 hours. The optimal thickness of one coat of paint is 25-30 µm
