Protective oil coating for soft and hardwood.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

It is used for protective coatings on soft and hardwood, especially indoors, for example: coatings of deck boards, beam ceilings, wooden furniture, garden furniture. The lacquer with wax gives the wood a highly decorative appearance, repels water, and keeps the surface breathable. The product features excellent penetration efficiency and easy restoration of the coating.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-cleared of all resin exudation, e.g. by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood's pre-treatment depends on the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also on the overall longevity of the coating system. When restoring the LAZUROL WITH BEESWAX S1022 coating, it is necessary to remove the non-adhering layer of coating, e.g. by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools). The lacquer is not thinned, it is already ready for use.

Theoretical coverage: ca 25 m²/ l for one layer depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

It is applied after thorough mixing onto the pre-prepared substrate. Wood in exteriors should be treated before coating against mold, fungi, and wood-boring insects, for example with LAZUROL Impregnation Primer S1033. The lacquer is applied in 1 to 2 layers at an interval of about 6 hours. Non-absorbed lacquer should be wiped off after 30 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth, and the dried coating can be additionally polished, for example, with a soft flannel. The coating is dry after 24 hours. Method of application: brush; to perfectly work the lacquer into the wood, it is also suitable to use cotton wool or a sea sponge. Dispose of absorbent organic materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked in lacquer, as they can self-ignite under certain circumstances.
