LAZUROL protective oil coating with beeswax S1022, colorless, 2.5 l

Protective oil coating for soft and hard wood. 

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

It is used for protective coatings of both soft and hard wood, especially indoors, for example: coatings for cladding, beam ceilings, wooden furniture, garden furniture. The wax lacquer gives the wood a highly decorative appearance, repels water, and the surface remains breathable. The product is characterized by excellent penetration efficacy and easy maintenance of the coating.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudations, for example by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall durability of the coating system. When renewing the coating LAZUROL WITH BEESWAX S1022, it is necessary to remove the non-adhering layer of the coating, for example by sanding.

DILUTION: diluent BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools). The lacquer is not diluted; it is already ready for use.

Theoretical coverage: ca 25 m²/ l for one layer depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Applied after thorough mixing onto the pre-prepared substrate. Wood in exteriors should be treated against mold, fungi, and wood-destroying insects before coating with products such as LAZUROL Impregnating Primer S1033. The lacquer is applied in 1 to 2 coats with an interval of about 6 hours. Any unabsorbed lacquer should be wiped off after 30 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth, and the dried coating can be additionally polished with, for example, a soft flannel. The coating is dry within 24 hours. Application method: brush; for perfect incorporation of the lacquer into the wood, it is also suitable to use cotton wool or a sea sponge. Organic absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, paper, dust, etc.) soaked with lacquer should be disposed of as they can spontaneously ignite under certain circumstances.
