Lazurol Aqua Ekohost Gloss V1305 Floor Lacquer, 600 g

LAZUROL AQUA EKOHOST is a high-percentage polyurethane water-based floor lacquer with high resistance, hardness, and an attractive appearance, enhancing the grain of the wood. It is used for coatings on wood in interiors (furniture, parquet, cork flooring) and for coatings on absorbent materials (wood fiberboards, plywood). It contains a UV filter. It is available as a clear lacquer in satin and matte finishes. It meets slip resistance standards.

The lacquer is intended for creating a high-quality and durable surface on all types of wooden floors made of hard and soft wood in interiors. It can also be used for coating plywood, furniture parts, wooden cladding, cork, etc., or as a top coat for dispersion paints. It meets the slip resistance requirements in both dry and wet conditions (ČSN 744507) for floors in all residential and recreational rooms and also for parts of buildings used by the public – the average value of the coefficient of friction for the entire set must be at least 0.5.

Working Procedure:
Before use, thoroughly mix the lacquer. The ambient temperature during application must be between +15 °C and +25 °C. It is applied with a brush, roller, or by spraying. The surface of the wood to be lacquered must be free from all dirt, dust, and old, non-adherent coatings. Resinous spots must be washed with thinner, and the surface should be carefully sanded with graduated sanding paper P80-100-120-150 (grit adjusted to the condition, type, and quality of the substrate). After removing the dirt caused by sanding, one coat of lacquer diluted with a maximum of 10% water is applied. After 2 hours of drying, the surface should be lightly sanded with P220-400 sanding paper. After again removing the dirt caused by sanding, two coats of undiluted lacquer are applied with a time interval of 2-8 hours. If the time interval between individual coats exceeds 8 hours, light sanding with P220-400 paper is recommended.

Toning:
The color shades are prepared in the TELURMIX system.

8 - 12 m²/kg in one layer

You may find protective materials useful, such as paper masking tape or protective film, or sanding papers. Don't forget brushes and rollers.
