Lazurol Aqua Ekohost satin V1305 floor varnish 600 g

LAZUROL AQUA EKOHOST is a high-percentage polyurethane water-based floor varnish with high resistance, hardness, and an effective appearance, enhancing the grain of the wood. It is used for coating wood in interiors (furniture, parquet, cork flooring) and for coatings of absorbent materials (fiberboards, plywood). It contains UV filter. It is produced as a clear varnish in satin and matte finishes. It meets the slip resistance conditions.

The varnish is intended for creating a high-quality and durable surface for all types of wooden floors made of both hard and soft wood in interiors. It can also be used for coating plywood, furniture parts, wooden panels, cork, etc., or as a topcoat on dispersion paints. It meets the slip resistance requirements both in dry and wet conditions (ČSN 744507) for the floors of all living and occupancy areas, as well as for parts of buildings used by the public – the average value of the coefficient of friction for the entire set must be at least 0.5.

Method of application:

Working procedure:
Before use, thoroughly mix the varnish. The ambient temperature at application must be in the range of +15 °C to +25 °C. Apply with a brush, roller, or by spraying. The surface of the wood for varnishing must be free of all dirt, dust, and old non-adherent coatings. Resinous spots must be washed with solvent and the surface carefully sanded using graduated sanding with sandpaper P80-100-120-150 (grit adapted to the condition, type, and quality of the substrate). After removing dirt generated during sanding, apply one layer of varnish thinned with a maximum of 10% water. After 2 hours of drying, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper P220-400. After again removing dirt generated during sanding, apply two layers of undiluted varnish with a time interval of 2-8 hours. If the time interval between individual coats is more than 8 hours, light sanding with sandpaper P220-400 is recommended.

Tinting:
Color shades are prepared in the TELURMIX system.

Yield:
8 - 12 m2/kg in one layer

You might find covering material, such as paper masking tape or covering film, possibly sanding papers. Don't forget about brushes and rollers.
