LAZUROL Oknobal Standard paint for windows S2015, white, 600 ml

The LAZUROL OKNOBAL STANDARD S2015 paint for windows is a synthetic enamel designed for top glossy coatings of wood.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The paint is intended for top final glossy coatings of wood, especially wooden windows, doors, ceilings, etc. in interior and exterior. It is characterized by excellent mechanical properties, high opacity, whiteness, and long-lasting durability. It has good flow and reduced tackiness of the coating after drying. It is weatherproof and resistant to UV radiation.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final surface treatment of the wood as well as the overall longevity of the coating system.
The wood surface must first be impregnated with a suitable primer that ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate and greater protection of the wood (in case of using a fungicidal primer, also protection against mold, fungi, and insects). Subsequently, the wood surface should be sanded lightly with fine sandpaper and then a base coat for wood should be applied. In renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove old non-adhering coatings and ensure good substrate adhesion (when completely removing an old coating, the new coating should be applied gradually, including wood impregnation). It is recommended to follow the entire coating system according to the manufacturer's data sheet.

THINNER: BALTECH S6006 thinner (brush, roller), BALTECH S6001 thinner (spraying)

Theoretical coverage: 14 - 16 m2/l

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Before use, the content should be thoroughly mixed and diluted as needed.
Interior coating:
1. 1x coat with colorless LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023, wipe off excess after 10 – 15 minutes with a cloth or dry brush, drying time 24 hours, lightly sand with sandpaper
2. 1 x coat with base paint PRAGOPRIMER PLUS S2070 or LAZUROL OKNOBAL ZÁKLAD S2060, optimal film thickness of one layer 25 – 30 µm, drying time 5 hours
3. 1 to 2x coats with top enamel LAZUROL OKNOBAL STANDARD S2015, optimal film thickness 25 – 30 µm, drying time for one layer 24 hours

External coating:
1. 1 to 2x coats with fungicidal primer LAZUROL IMPREGNAČNÍ ZÁKLAD S1033, wipe off excess primer with a cloth or dry brush, drying time 24 hours, lightly sand with sandpaper
2. 1 to 2x coats with base paint PRAGOPRIMER PLUS S2070 or LAZUROL OKNOBAL ZÁKLAD S2060, optimal film thickness of one layer 25 – 30 µm, drying time for each layer 5 hours
3. 2 to 3x coats with top enamel LAZUROL OKNOBAL STANDARD S2015, optimal film thickness 25 – 30 µm, drying time for one layer 24 hours

Product safety warnings (H-phrases)

• EUH066: Repeated exposure may cause dry skin or cracking.
• EUH208: Contains (see hazardous substances). May produce an allergic reaction.
• EUH211: Caution! Hazardous respirable droplets may be formed when sprayed. Do not inhale aerosols or mists.
