Lazurol Aqua P UREX V1301 matte durable wood varnish transparent, 5 kg

Water-dilutable acrylic urethane interior wood varnish. This product is used to create an exceptionally durable and high-quality finish for all types of wooden floors made of soft and hard wood in interior spaces. It can also be used on furniture components, plywood, wooden paneling, cork, and similar materials or as a final coat over water-based paints.

It complies with the ČSN 744507 standard for slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions for floors in all living and activity spaces as well as in publicly accessible parts of buildings – the average value of the friction coefficient of the entire sample must be at least 0.5. It conforms to the ČSN EN 71-3 standard, part 3: Safety of toys. Migration of certain elements.

Characteristics of Lazurol Aqua P UREX V1301 durable wood varnish:

• Consumption 8 - 12 m² / kg per coat.
• Type of coating: top transparent varnish.
• Application methods: by brush, roller, or spraying (including the AIRLESS method).
• Use on wood (varnishes and glazes): wooden floors, parquet, wooden stairs, cork, varnished furniture, varnished doors.
• Intended for (interior / exterior): indoor spaces – interior.

Application procedure:

Before use, mix the varnish thoroughly. The ambient temperature during application must be between +15 °C and +25 °C. It can be applied with a brush, roller, or spraying. The wood surface for varnishing must be free of all impurities, dust, and old non-adhering coatings. Resinous areas must be cleaned with solvent and the surface carefully sanded using progressively graded sandpaper P80-100-120-150 (adjusting the grit according to the state, type, and quality of the substrate). After removing impurities created during sanding, apply one layer of varnish diluted with a maximum of 10% water. After 2 hours of drying, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper P220-400. After removing the impurities created during sanding again, apply two layers of undiluted varnish with a time interval of 2-8 hours. If the time interval between individual coats is more than 8 hours, light sanding with sandpaper P220-400 is recommended.

Covering materials such as paper adhesive tape or masking film, and possibly sanding papers may also be useful. Don't forget to also acquire brushes and rollers.
