DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0111 gray, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-dilutable top coat for painting construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, HPL, ceramic tiles with silane additives, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The coated surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and exhibit a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, stipulated by Decree of MZČR No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, loose layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 layers of DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1 anti-corrosive primer, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first level with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protecting to a suitable depth with a biocidal impregnating agent. Protect mineral substrates with 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent and then top with DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum application and drying temperature is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of the paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendation: Observe personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When applying by spray, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
