Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T060 pine, 2.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall coverings, fences, cottages, and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, wood floor penetration). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and enhances its texture. It provides long-term protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are color fast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall coverings, fences, cottages, and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, wood floor penetration.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood preparation affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for exterior use should first be impregnated with an appropriate fungicidal impregnator that protects the wood against mold, fungus, and insect infestation, e.g., LAZUROL IMPREGNATING PRIMER S1033. The surface of the wood intended for interior use is best first impregnated with the clear LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Impregnation with a clear primer ensures uniform absorption of the substrate before further application of coatings. Subsequently, the wood surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper and only then should the impregnating stain be applied. In renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adherent layer from the wood, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one coat depending on substrate absorption

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, as it is already at application viscosity. During application, it is necessary to regularly mix the staining varnish. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. The clear stain is intended for interior coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly enhance the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the undried varnish after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

Always use material from the same production batch for larger areas. The same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final color shade; therefore, it is recommended to carry out a test application before the final application. Claims for color shades will only be accepted upon the complaint of the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be over-coated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be safely disposed of, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
