Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T000 natural, 4.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coats for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, wooden floor treatments). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the wood structure and accentuates its grain. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are color-fast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, wooden floor treatments.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with an increased resin content (larch, pine) must be stripped of any resin exudations beforehand, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish as well as the overall lifetime of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with an appropriate fungicidal primer that ensures protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood meant for indoor use is best first treated with a clear stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The clear primer ensures an even absorption of the substrate before the application of coating materials. Subsequently, it is necessary to sand the surface of the wood with fine sandpaper and then apply the impregnation stain. For renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of any old non-adhering layers, for example by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one coat depending on substrate absorbency

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already in application viscosity. During application, the glazing lacquer must be regularly mixed. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 coats, while for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only colored shades. The clear stain is intended for use indoors. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly highlight the grain of the wood, any excess lacquer should be wiped off with a dry brush or cloth after 10 to 15 minutes of application.

Always use material from the same production batch for uniform areas. Using the same production batch ensures the same color tone. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood influence the final shade of the coating, so it is recommended to conduct a test coat before final application. Color tone complaints will be acknowledged only if the complaint is regarding the test area.

For high gloss, a dried coat done with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or a natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be retouched with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, paper, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
