Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T000 natural, 4.5 l

Thin-layer wood stain Lazurol Topdecor S1035 is used for protective stain coatings of hardwood and softwood exposed to weather influences and for application indoors (e.g. garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, or penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deep into the pores of the material and enhances its natural grain. It ensures long-term protection of the wood against the effects of water and UV radiation. The coating retains color stability, does not crack and is easy to restore. Shade T000 -natural  is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with increased resin content (larch, pine) must be pretreated to remove all resin exudates, for example by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pretreatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish as well as the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for exterior use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal primer that provides protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g. LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for interior use is recommended to be treated with colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Priming with colorless primer ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before applying coating materials. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper before applying the impregnating stain. For renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adherent layer, for example by sanding.

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During the work, it is necessary to regularly stir the staining lacquer. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 coats, for outdoor coatings it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. Colorless stain is intended for interior applications. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly highlight the grain of the wood, it is advisable to wipe off excess lacquer 10 to 15 minutes after application using a dry brush or cloth.

Always paint uniform areas with material from the same production batch, which guarantees an identical color shade. The final appearance of the shade is influenced by the type of wood, its surface, and previous coatings, so it is recommended to perform a test application before the final coating. Complaints about color shades can only be accepted based on the submitted test area.

To achieve a high gloss, the dried coating can be overcoated with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 varnish or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. For coating flooring areas, LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020 is intended.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, paper, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
