Usage of Het Klasic Color:

For indoor application on walls and ceilings, lime, lime-cement, plaster-lime and gypsum plasters, plasterboard, fiber cement, and wood fiber boards, plaster with acrylic binders, renovation plasters (meets the requirement of WTA CZ directive No. 2-9-04/D, table 4 limiting the use of covering layers on renovation plasters in terms of permeability for water vapor), concrete panels and monoliths, designated paper wallpapers, glass fiber wallpapers, etc. Also for application on substrates with a combination of, for example, mineral plasters and plasterboard. The product meets the requirements for coatings of surfaces that may come into indirect and direct accidental contact with food. The coating creates a matte, highly vapor-permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and to abrasion by dry materials.

The coated surface must not be in constant contact with water and must not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating briefly withstands temperatures around 70 °C. The paint is suitable for painting residential and commercial spaces, children's rooms, dining rooms, hallways, offices, sales areas, etc.

Coverage of Het Klasic Color paint:
6 – 10 m²/kg in one coat depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer.

Applying Het Klasic Color paint:
Recommended application – with painter's rollers (perlon, polyacrylic, polyamide), brush; small areas - with a brush; large-scale application – spraying AIRLESS, HVLP. When spraying, it is advisable to conduct preliminary tests on the specific equipment.

Substrate:
Dry, cohesive, free of dirt and biological contamination (mold, algae), non-salted, non-greasy, free from form oils, chemically stable, mature (pH ≤8.5; this can be checked with a pH tester).

Application temperature:
The temperature of the material, environment, and substrate must be between +5 to +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Application procedure:

1. The priming coat is done with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint, or with the priming product A-GRUND or AT-GRUND, in the case of plasterboard and other less absorbent or extremely smooth substrates with the product UP-GRUND. If the substrate is a non-dusting, low-absorbent original paint film, priming is not necessary. Layers of old coats with insufficient adhesion should be scraped off.
2. After the primer has dried, apply 1–2 covering coats with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.1 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. On new or significantly different shade substrates, more covering coats can be applied as needed.
