Interior dispersion white cover paint Het Hetmal Plus with high covering ability - recommended for commercial and living spaces, offices, schools, corridors, industrial applications. Het Hetmal Plus is for interior coating of walls and ceilings, lime and lime-cement plasters, concrete panels and monoliths, designated paper wallpapers, etc. The paint is suitable for repainting old load-bearing layers of interior paints. The product meets the requirements for coatings on surfaces that may come into indirect and direct accidental contact with food. The coating creates a matte, vapor-permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and resistant to abrasion with dry materials. The coated surface should not be in constant contact with water and should not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating temporarily withstands temperatures around 70 °C. Shade:
white, tinting can be done with HETCOLOR tinting colors (max. in a ratio of 1:5 parts of paint)

Coverage:
8 - 12 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and thickness of the applied layer

Drying time:
at least 4 hours at 20 °C and 60% relative air humidity

Application:
with a brush, painting rollers (perlon, polyacrylic, polyamide), small areas with a brush, large area application by AIRLESS spraying. When spraying, it is advisable to conduct tests on specific equipment beforehand. The temperature of the material, environment, and substrate must be between +5 to +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Substrate:
dry, cohesive, free from dirt and biological contamination (mold, algae), unsalted, non-greasy, free from formwork oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; the check can be done with a pH tester).

Example of the application procedure:

1. before application, the paint must always be properly mixed. When mixing, ensure that air does not penetrate into the material and that the paint does not foam.
2. the priming coat is done with the paint diluted with 0.5 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. For smooth substrates, a penetrating agent UP-GRUND is used for the priming coat, very absorbent substrates are primed with products A-GRUND or AT-GRUND. If the substrate is a cohesive, non-crumbling, low-absorbent original coat, a priming coat is not necessary. Layers
   of old coats with insufficient adhesion must be scraped off beforehand. Stains from leaked water, rust, soot, aniline dyes, or nicotine should first be covered with the insulating primer I-GRUND or, in case of greater intensity, with the paint HETLINE IZOL.
3. after the priming coat has dried, apply 1 to 2, or for new or significantly differently tinted substrates as needed, more, covering coats with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. WARNING: excessive dilution of the paint reduces covering ability and may deteriorate the paint's parameters.
4. protect all tools against drying during work breaks and wash them with water after work. Clean contaminated areas immediately with water; dried paint is difficult to remove. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying.
