Interior dispersion white covering paint Het Hetmal Plus with high covering ability - recommended for commercial and living spaces, offices, schools, corridors, industrial applications. Het Hetmal Plus is suitable for internal wall and ceiling coatings, lime and lime-cement plasters, concrete panels and monoliths, specially designated paper wallpapers, etc. The paint is suitable for repainting old supporting layers of interior paints. The product meets the requirements for coatings of surfaces that may come into indirect and direct occasional contact with food. The coating creates a matte, vapor-permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and resistant to abrasion with dry material. The painted surface must not be in permanent contact with water and must not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating can briefly withstand temperatures around 70 °C. Shade:
white, tinting can be done with HETCOLOR tinting colors (max. in the ratio of 1:5 parts of paint)

8 - 12 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer

Drying time: 
at least 4 hours at 20 °C and 60% relative humidity

Application:
with a brush, paint rollers (perlon, polyacryl, polyamide), small areas with a brush, large-scale application by AIRLESS spraying. When spraying, it is advisable to conduct tests on specific equipment beforehand. The temperature of the material, environment, and substrate must be between +5 and +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Substrate:
dry, cohesive, free from dirt and biological attacks (molds, algae), not salt-laden, non-greasy, free from formwork oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; the control can be made with a pH tester).

Example of the application procedure:

1. before application, it's essential to properly mix the paint. When mixing, ensure that air does not penetrate the mass and cause the paint to froth.
2. the priming coat is applied with paint diluted to 0.5 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. For smooth substrates, a penetrating agent UP-GRUND is used for the priming coat, very absorbent substrates are primed with products A-GRUND or AT-GRUND. If the substrate is a cohesive, non-flaking, low-absorbing original coat, a priming coat is not necessary. Layers
   of old coatings with insufficient adhesion must be scraped beforehand. Stains from leaked water, rust, soot, aniline dyes, or nicotine should first be covered with an isolating coat I-GRUND or in case of more intensity with paint HETLINE IZOL.
3. after the priming coat has dried, apply 1 to 2, or more as needed for new or significantly differently colored substrates, covering coats of paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. WARNING: excessive thinning of the paint reduces opacity and may worsen the paint's parameters.
4. protect all tools against drying during work breaks and wash with water after work. Clean contaminated areas immediately with water; dried paint is challenging to remove. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying.
