Washable wall paint REMAL Vinyl Color Mat represents a premium colored washable paint with a velvet matte appearance, excellent covering ability, and high abrasion resistance. Its surface is gently washable. The paint is intended for painting interior walls and ceilings on drywall, stucco, and other substrates.

The paint is characterized by easy workability, shows washability and resistance to wet abrasion after 28 days - class 1. (measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998, classified according to EN 13300). The application method is a brush or a paint roller.

Working procedure of washable paint:

The original non-adhering coatings in larger layers must be scraped off. Before painting, treat the substrate with REMAL deep penetration primer. This will remove dust, strengthen, unify absorbency, and ensure adhesion. Drying time is 4 hours. Even out uneven surfaces with REMAL filler. To cover stains, for example, from water leaks, it is recommended to use REMAL Flek-stop isolating coat. Before use, mix the paint thoroughly; it is diluted for painting. If necessary, dilute with a maximum of 5% clean water. Apply with REMAL Vinyl roller with short nap. The coating covers in one layer. Reapply after a minimum of 4 hours. The optimal temperature for application is 15 to 25 °C. Clean soiled areas and tools immediately after application with water; dried paint is difficult to remove.

Method of applying washable wall paint:

REMAL Vinyl roller with short nap, brush, AIRLESS spraying - e.g., STORCH AIRLESS ST 550, STORCH AIRLESS ST 700, or STORCH AIRLESS ST 800 recommended pressure from 120 - 150 bar, nozzle size 515 or 517, filter in the gun 50 mesh. When spraying, we recommend always conducting tests in advance on the specific equipment.

Can be useful for you

Covering materials, such as paper masking tape or protective film, possibly sanding papers. Also remember brushes, rollers, brushes, or spatulas.
