DENAS UNIVERZÁL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0110 light gray, 5 kg

DENAS UNIVERZÁL MAT is a water-dilutable top coat for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, and do not become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weathering; they are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long durability in both indoor and outdoor applications.

The product is safe under specified conditions of use and meets the hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and at the same time meets the hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated by the Ministry of Health Decree No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD anti-corrosion primer or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERZÁL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, applying in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. Wood in outdoor applications is recommended to be protected deeply with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protection of mineral substrates should be performed with 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent followed by a top coat of DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

In normal use, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Disposal of waste:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its usability properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the cap/lid.
