The base and top paint for metal Detecha Superkov Satin 2v1 represents a newly developed coating with a silky sheen in a modern and impressive palette of shades. This product combines base and top coat in one, ensuring not only a nice appearance but also reliable protection against corrosion. It effectively withstands all the whims of weather and UV radiation. It excels in high flexibility and resistance to noticeable temperature fluctuations. For long-lasting protection (up to 8 years), it is sufficient to apply 2 coats of Superkov Satin completely without a primer.

Application of the metal paint:

Outdoor and indoor coatings for metals. Sheet metal roofing, gates, gutters, window sills, door frames, fencing, steel structures, piping, and other metal materials. We recommend letting galvanized steel oxidize naturally. We advise treating corroded substrates in advance with Fest Primer.

• Substrate: steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, titanozinc, aluminum, copper. Freshly galvanized sheet metal should be painted after 1 year of exposure to the elements.
• Environment: interior, exterior with higher corrosion exposure (damp areas, industrial sites)
• Examples: sheet metal roofing, gates, gutters, window sills, door frames, fencing, steel structures, piping, etc.

Coverage:
Theoretical coverage for one layer is 9 - 11 m² per 1 kg of paint at an average thickness of the dry film of 40 - 50 µm (corresponding wet thickness is 75 - 95 µm). Actual coverage depends on the quality of the substrate and the application method. Maximum longevity can be achieved with proper application and a dry coating thickness of 100 - 150 µm.

Preparation of the substrate and application method:
Painted surfaces must be dry, degreased, free of dirt, rust, and old non-adhering coatings. It is recommended to clean with a high-pressure water jet with a rotating nozzle. Before use, the contents of the can must be thoroughly mixed, and if necessary, diluted (5-10% thinner) to the required consistency. To ensure compatibility of the new coating with any old layer, it is advisable to do a test coat on a small area. The coating is applied with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 - 3 layers at a temperature of +5 to +25 °C. The interval between coats is a minimum of 18 hours at 20 °C. For spraying application, it is also possible to proceed with a wet-on-wet technique after partial solvent evaporation from the previous coat (i.e. approximately after 30 minutes). The paint is touch-dry within 6 hours and fully cured within 48 hours. Lower temperatures or higher humidity may extend drying time. Do not work in direct bright sunlight! When painting large continuous areas, it is recommended to use products from the same production batch, or mix the contents of individual packages in a larger container to achieve color homogeneity. Surfaces that are difficult to clean from corrosive residues should be treated with a bonding polyurethane product Fest Primer in advance. This will improve the quality and longevity of the entire coating system.
