Detecha Detastop Concentrate Against Molds, Moss, and Lichens, 1 L

The Detastop preparation acts against molds, bacteria, and algae and serves to eliminate them from affected surfaces. It is useful as both a preventive and remedial treatment for brickwork, plaster, concrete, stone, or asbestos-cement, as well as wood, particle boards, and other absorbent substrates. It also works well as an effective cleaning agent for contaminated surfaces in highly humid areas, such as bathrooms, laundries, cellars, or kitchens.

This corresponds to the Detastop preparation. It is an economical package suitable for larger areas. 1 liter of concentrate = 20 liters of solution. The Detastop concentrate can also be diluted according to specific needs. For significantly soiled substrates, it is recommended to apply a solution with higher concentration.

DETASTOP CONCENTRATE provides both preventive and destructive effects. It features deep and long-lasting action. Its composition does not contain inorganic-bound chlorine, which causes undesirable salinization leading to increased moisture growth in the substrate. The product does not bleach and is odorless. It is not intended for mixing into plasters, building materials, or painting coatings.

Usage:
Interior, exterior. Residential and non-residential spaces. Places with extreme conditions (laundries, bathrooms, cellars, kitchens, etc.). Food industry (breweries, wineries, dairies, freezing chambers, bakeries, meat processing plants). It acts destructively and preventively against molds, algae, mosses, and lichens on plasters, sandstone, concrete pavements, gravestones, roof coverings, and other absorbent and non-absorbent substrates. The product can be used as an effective antibacterial cleaning agent on contaminated surfaces. Cost-effective packaging designed for larger areas.

Application procedure:
Do not remove molds, mosses, algae, and lichens before applying the preparation while dry! Dilute the Detastop concentrate in a ratio of 1:19 (1 part concentrate : 19 parts water) and apply this solution to affected areas using a brush, roller, spray gun, etc. In case of higher absorbency, repeat the application. Allow the solution to penetrate into the surface (min. 20 minutes). Then re-wet the area with the solution and mechanically remove biological impurities while wet (brush, sponge, spatula, or high-pressure cleaner in the case of exterior applications). Subsequently, re-wet the surface with the preparation and allow it to be absorbed. The effectiveness of the preparation will increase with slower drying, e.g., at lower temperatures and higher relative humidity. In case of severe infestation, repeat the procedure. Even if biological impurities cannot be visually removed, their growth is reliably stopped. For subsequent treatment of masonry and plaster in the interior, we recommend using the biocidal paint coating DETAKRYL ANTI-MOLD with long-term preventive protective effects. Diluted DETASTOP concentrate is not intended for surfaces that come into direct contact with food, feed, and drinking water.
