The Detecha Superkov Satin 2in1 paint for metal is a newly developed coating material with a silky sheen in a modern and attractive color palette. This combined base and top coat not only ensures an impressive appearance but also provides perfect protection against corrosion. It effectively resists all weather conditions and UV radiation. It stands out for its high elasticity and resistance to significant temperature fluctuations. To achieve long-lasting protection (up to 8 years), it is sufficient to apply 2 layers of Superkov Satin without the need for a base coat.

Application of the paint for metal:

Outdoor and indoor coatings for metals. Sheet metal roofs, gates, gutters, sills, frames, fencing, steel constructions, piping, and other metal materials. We recommend allowing galvanized steel to oxidize naturally. For corroded substrates, we recommend pre-treating with Fest Primer.

• Substrate: steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, titanzinc, aluminum, copper. We recommend painting fresh galvanized steel after 1 year of exposure to weather conditions.
• Environment: interior, exterior with higher corrosion stress (damp areas, industrial spaces)
• Examples: sheet metal roofs, gates, gutters, sills, frames, fencing, steel structures, piping, etc.

Coverage:
Theoretical coverage for one layer is 9 - 11 m² per 1 kg of paint at the usual thickness of the dried film of 40 - 50 µm (the corresponding wet thickness is 75 - 95 µm). Actual coverage depends on the quality of the substrate and the method of application. Maximum longevity can be achieved with correct application and a dry film thickness of 100 - 150 µm.

Preparation of the substrate and method of application:
The surfaces to be painted must be dry, degreased, free from dirt, rust, and old non-adhering coatings. We recommend finishing with a high-pressure water jet with a rotating nozzle. Before use, the contents of the can should be thoroughly mixed and possibly diluted (5-10% thinner) to the required consistency. To ensure compatibility of the new coating with any old coating, it is advisable to carry out a test coat on a small area. The coating should be applied with a brush, roller, or spray in 2 - 3 layers at a temperature of +5 to +25 °C. The interval between coats is at least 18 hours at a temperature of 20 °C. For spray application, it is also possible to proceed with wet on wet after partial evaporation of the solvents from the previous coat (i.e., approximately after 30 minutes). The coating becomes touch dry within 6 hours and fully cures within 48 hours. Lower temperatures or increased humidity may cause extended drying times. Do not work in direct, intense sunlight! When painting continuous larger areas, we recommend using products from the same production batch or mixing the contents of individual containers in a larger vessel to homogenize the color. Surfaces that are difficult to clean from corrosive deposits should be pre-treated with the anchoring polyurethane product Fest Primer. This will enhance the quality and durability of the entire coating system.
