Detastop is an antifungal, antibacterial and algicidal preparation intended for killing molds and algae on contaminated surfaces. It can be used as a remediation and preventive protection on plaster, masonry, concrete, stone, asbestos cement, as well as on wood, particle boards, and other absorbent materials. It can also be used as an effective cleaning agent for contaminated surfaces in extremely moist environments such as bathrooms, laundries, basements, cooking areas, etc..

Usage:
Indoor and outdoor use. Residential and non-residential spaces. Places with extreme conditions (laundries, bathrooms, basements, cooking areas, etc.). Food industry (breweries, wineries, dairy plants, meat processing plants). It acts destructively and preventively against molds, algae, mosses, and lichens on plasters, sandstone, concrete pavements, gravestones, roofing materials, etc. The preparation can be used as an effective antibacterial cleaning agent. For subsequent treatment of masonry and plasters in the interior, we recommend using a snow-white paint containing biocides Detakryl antifungal.

Work procedure:
Do not remove molds, mosses, algae, and lichens from the affected areas before applying the preparation dry! Clean the affected areas with undiluted DETASTOP. Apply with a brush or roller. When using a mechanical sprayer, apply the preparation from a distance of about 10 - 20 cm. Let it act for at least 20 minutes. Then moisten the area again with the preparation and remove biological impurities mechanically while wet (brush, spatula, sponge, cloth). Subsequently, re-moisten the surface with the preparation and let it absorb naturally. The effectiveness of the preparation is further increased when drying slowly, for example at lower temperatures and higher relative humidity. In case of severe contamination, repeat the procedure. Even if biological impurities cannot be optically removed, their growth is reliably stopped. For subsequent treatment of masonry and plasters in the interior, we recommend using a snow-white paint containing biocides DETAKRYL ANTI-MOLD. Detastop in combination with Detakryl forms a complete system for the permanent elimination of molds in the interior.

Dilution:
The preparation is not diluted, it is ready for direct use.

Consumption:
1 kg per 5 – 10 m2. Consumption is influenced by the absorbency of the substrate and the degree of infestation.
