Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T083 cherry, 4.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings for soft and hardwood, exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall coverings and ceilings, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the wood structure and emphasizes its grain. It provides long-term protection of wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall coverings and ceilings, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, e.g. by rinsing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal impregnant that provides protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g. with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should be pre-treated with a clear stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a clear impregnant ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate for further application of paints. The wood surface must then be lightly sanded, and only after that should the impregnating stain be applied. In renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer, e.g. by sanding.

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thoroughly mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. No dilution of the stain is necessary, it is already in application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly mix the staining varnish. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in color shades. The clear stain is intended for applications indoors. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly emphasize the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off excess varnish with a dry brush or cloth after 10 to 15 minutes of application.

Always use material from the same production batch for continuous surfaces. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood influence the final shade of the coating, so we recommend conducting a test coat before final application. Claims regarding color shades will only be accepted if made regarding the test area.

For a high gloss finish, the dried coating applied with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or with the natural shade of the LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR FOOTWEAR VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they can self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
