Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for interior applications (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and emphasizes its grain. Provides long-lasting protection of wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin exudations in advance, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall longevity of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal impregnator that ensures protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. For interior use, it is advisable to first treat the wood with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration with colorless impregnator will ensure uniform absorbency of the substrate before further application of coatings. Subsequently, the wood surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper, and then the impregnation stain should be applied. When performing renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer of paint, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical yield: 13-15 m²/l for one layer depending on substrate absorbency

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly stir the staining varnish. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only with colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor applications. Individual layers can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly enhance the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed varnish after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For continuous surfaces, always use material from the same production batch. When using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating; therefore, we recommend performing a test coat before the final application. Claims regarding color shades will only be recognized if complained about a test area.

For high gloss, it is possible to overcoat the dried coat made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or a natural shade of the stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKING VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be safely disposed of, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
