Motip 04006 spray, universal car paint, black matte, 500 ml

Properties of Motip 04006 universal car paint in black matte spray:

• High quality, fast-drying nitro-combi lacquer.
• Good flow, smooth surface.
• Weather-resistant, light-resistant (does not yellow).
• Limited resistance to fuel.
• Good color and gloss retention.
• Hard surface, abrasion-resistant.

Physical and chemical properties of Motip universal car paint:

• Binder base: acrylic resin.
• Color: silver, black matte.
• Odor: solvent.
• Gloss level (measured at 60° according to DIN 67530):
• satin: 40-50 gloss units.
• 80 - 90 gloss units after applying MoTip Rallye Clear Gloss Lacquer.
• Yield depends on the consistency and color of the substrate:
• 150 ml is sufficient for 1 disc.
• 500 ml is sufficient for 4-5 discs.
• Drying time (at 20 °C, 50% relative humidity):
• Dust resistant: approximately after 5-10 minutes.
• Non-tacky: approximately after 10-20 minutes.
• Cured: after 24 hours.
• Additional coat with clear lacquer: approximately after 2 hours.
• Drying time depends on ambient temperature, humidity, and thickness of the applied coat.
• Heat resistant: up to 110 °C.

Painting:

• The surface must be clean, dry, free of rust and grease.
• Before use, shake the can vigorously for 2 minutes.
• Test color compatibility.
• Apply several thin layers at intervals of 3 - 5 minutes from a distance of approximately 25 cm.
• After 120 minutes of drying, apply MoTip Rallye Clear Lacquer to protect the metallic pigments in the paint.
• Do not spray on synthetic paints.

• EUH066: Repeated exposure may cause drying or cracking of the skin.
• H222+H229: Extremely flammable aerosol. The container is under pressure: may burst when heated.
• H319: Causes serious eye irritation.
• H336: May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
