Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T027 meranti, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings for soft and hard wood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and emphasizes its grain. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. The shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free of resin residues, before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin exudates beforehand, for example by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment depends on the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall longevity of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal primer, which ensures protection against mold, fungi, and insects, for example, using LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be treated with a colorless LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 stain or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a colorless primer will ensure even absorbency of the substrate for further application of coatings. The surface of the wood must then be sanded with fine sandpaper before applying the impregnation stain. For renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of the old non-adherent layer, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per layer depending on substrate absorbency

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a previously prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already at application viscosity. During the work, the staining lacquer must be regularly mixed. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only with colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor coatings. Individual coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To evenly enhance the grain of the wood, it is advisable to wipe off any unabsorbed lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes from application using a dry brush or cloth.

For uniform areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the paint, therefore we recommend performing a test coating before the final application. Complaints about color shades will only be recognized when reporting the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coating performed with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKING VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
