Special acrylic lacquer for additional protection of dispersion paints - we recommend it as a protective lacquer for painting coats for perfect washability of surfaces, baseboards, kitchens, etc.
Coverage:
4 - 7 m²/kg in one coat depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer
Application:
spraying, painting rollers with short pile and rounded edges (for acrylic lacquers), brush for water-thinnable lacquers. It is advisable to test the given method of application beforehand on a sample of the specific material.
Substrate:
dry, cohesive, free of impurities and biological contamination (molds, algae), non-salty, non-greasy, free of formwork oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; control can be performed with a pH tester). If the coating material is a paint, it must be cohesive, dry, and sufficiently bonded, for example, with acrylic or polyvinyl acetate dispersion. It is ideal to choose a coating material that falls into class 4 or lower according to ČSN EN 13300. It is not recommended to treat coatings with low content of dispersion binder with lacquer, as this would not ensure sufficient adhesion of the lacquer to the substrate, and there could be leaching of fillers and pigments into the lacquer during painting. Layers of old coatings with insufficient adhesion or cohesion must be removed.
