Fronton powder paint is used for coloring paints and other building or mineral materials in interiors and exteriors. The color shades are permanent and have a long lifespan.
Recommended painting procedure
Before applying the paint, clean the plaster from dust, or wash with water and repair with mortar if necessary. The plaster intended for painting must be solid, not crumbly, sufficiently rough, dry, and cured. Multiple old thick lime paints must be removed by scraping after previous wetting with water. Plasters coated with oil paints are not suitable for painting with FRONTON pigmented paint. The ambient temperature and the substrate must not drop below 5 °C during application, and do not carry out in strong sunlight. The second coat can be applied after 2 – 5 hours. It is applied with a brush.
Lighter shade:
5 kg of FRONTON paint is added to 3 l of soft water and well mixed, after 2 – 3 hours, the resulting paste is mixed into 50 l of paint.
Darker shade:
10 kg of FRONTON paint is added to 5 l of soft water and well mixed, after 2 – 3 hours, the resulting paste is mixed into 50 l of paint.
Recommended methods of application:
With a brush, spraying according to the binder used and the purpose of use.
Coverage:
50l of paint /100m2 for 2 coats.
