Washable wall paint REMAL Vinyl Color Mat is a premium colored washable paint with a velvety matte appearance, excellent coverage, and scrub resistance. The surface of the paint is gently washable. The coating is designed for painting walls and ceilings in interiors on plaster, gypsum board, and other substrates.

The product is easy to process, shows washability of the paint with resistance to wet abrasion after 28 days - class 1. (measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998, classified according to EN 13300). The method of application is by brush or paint roller.

Procedure for washable paint:

Old non-adhering coatings in thicker layers need to be scraped off. Before painting, treat the surface with REMAL deep penetration primer. This will remove dust, strengthen, unify suction, and ensure adhesion. Drying time is 4 hours. Even out any irregularities on the wall with REMAL filler. For touching up stains, e.g., after leaking, it is advisable to use REMAL Flek-stop isolation coating. Before use, mix the coating thoroughly, it is diluted for painting. If necessary, dilute with a maximum of 5% clean water. Apply using a REMAL Vinyl roller with short hair. The coating covers in one layer. Touch up at least after 4 hours. The optimal temperature for application is 15 to 25 °C. Clean any soiled areas and tools immediately after application with water; dried coating is difficult to remove.

Method of applying washable wall paint:

REMAL Vinyl roller with short hair, brush, AIRLESS spraying - e.g., STORCH AIRLESS ST 550, STORCH AIRLESS ST 700 or STORCH AIRLESS ST 800, recommended pressure from 120 – 150 bar, nozzle size 515 or 517, filter for the gun 50 mesh. When spraying, we recommend always conducting tests on the specific device beforehand.

Handling washable paint REMAL:

When working, observe basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, feed, drinking water, nor for coatings of children's toys and furniture. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention. The product is treated with a biocide. Contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction.
