Lazurol Aqua Ekohost mat V1305 floor lacquer, 5 kg

Lazurol Aqua Ekohost mat V1305 floor lacquer is a highly percentage polyurethane water-dilutable floor lacquer with high resistance, hardness, and an appealing appearance, highlighting the grain of the wood. It is used for coatings of wood in interiors (furniture, parquet, cork coverings) and for coatings of absorbent materials (wood fiberboard, plywood). Contains UV filter. It is produced as a clear lacquer in semi-matt and matte variants. It meets anti-slip conditions.

The lacquer is intended for creating a high-quality and durable surface on all types of wooden floors made of hard and soft wood indoors. It can also be used for coating plywood, furniture parts, wooden paneling, cork, etc., or as a top coat over dispersion paints. It meets the anti-slip requirements both dry and wet (ČSN 744507) for floors in all living and recreational areas and also for parts of buildings used by the public – the average value of the coefficient of sliding friction for the entire set must be at least 0.5.

Method of application:

Work procedure:
Before use, mix the lacquer thoroughly. The ambient temperature during application should be between +15 °C and +25 °C. It is applied with a brush, roller, or by spraying. The surface of the wood to be lacquered must be free of all dirt, dust, and old flaking coatings. Resinous spots must be washed with thinner and the surface carefully sanded with gradually finer sandpaper P80-100-120-150 (grit adjusted to the condition, type, and quality of the substrate). After removing the dirt caused by sanding, one layer of lacquer diluted by a maximum of 10% water is applied. After 2 hours of drying, the surface is lightly sanded with sandpaper P220-400. After again removing the dirt caused by sanding, two layers of undiluted lacquer are applied with a time gap of 2-8 hours. If the time gap between individual coats exceeds 8 hours, it is recommended to lightly sand with sandpaper P220-400.

Tinting:
Color shades are prepared in the TELURMIX system.

Yield:
8 - 12 m²/kg in one layer

You may find it useful to have covering material, such as paper masking tape or covering foil, possibly sanding papers. Don't forget about brushes and rollers.
