Oriental floral fragrance for women was launched in 2025
Flower Indigo by Kenzo is an eau de parfum with a floral-amber fragrance, complemented by delicate mineral notes. The scent pays tribute to Japanese indigo blue, also known as Japanese blue, a color with a rich history that has traditionally been used for dyeing fabrics and decorative textiles.
Kenzo utilizes this characteristic blue particularly in Japanese denim and has now transferred it into its eau de parfum Flower Indigo. Perfumers Ane Ayo and Florian Gallo captured its essence through iris dyed with indigo ink. At the heart of the fragrance, iris, often referred to as the blue gold of perfumery, manifests with delicate powdery and woody notes. The base consists of the unique mineral chord Indigo Ink, which intertwines with smoky and leathery nuances of blue vanilla, creating a sophisticated and long-lasting fragrance experience.
