Oriental floral fragrance for women was launched in 2025
Flower Indigo by Kenzo is an Eau de Parfum with a floral-amber composition, complemented by delicate mineral notes. This fragrance pays tribute to the most symbolic Japanese color, indigo blue, also known as Japanese blue. The color, obtained from the leaves of the indigo plant, has a long history and was traditionally used for dyeing garments and decorative fabrics.
The fashion brand Kenzo utilizes this natural indigo blue especially in dyeing Japanese denim and has now transferred it to the Eau de Parfum Flower Indigo. Perfumers Ane Ayo and Florian Gallo captured the essence of Japanese blue through iris dyed with indigo ink. At the heart of the fragrance, the iris, often referred to as the blue gold of perfumery, manifests with powdery and woody notes. In the base, the unique mineral accord Indigo Ink blends with smoky and leathery nuances of blue vanilla, creating a unique and sophisticated fragrance experience.
