Warning: dissolution of Sifo is accompanied by a violent reaction, so protect hands and face thoroughly from scalding. May be corrosive to metals. Causes severe skin and eye damage.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe dust. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Wear rubber gloves, closed safety glasses or face shield. Store locked. Dispose of contents and packaging at a special or hazardous waste collection point.
If swallowed, rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Immediately call the Poison Information Centre or a doctor. If inhaled, move the victim to fresh air and keep him/her in a resting position to facilitate breathing. If eyes are affected, rinse gently with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if fitted and if easily removable. Continue rinsing. Immediately call the Poison Information Centre or a doctor. If contact with skin or hair occurs, immediately remove any contaminated articles of clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower.
