Pour Somat salt into the salt hopper of the water softener, following the instructions for use of your dishwasher. If your dishwasher does not have a salt indicator, we recommend adding Somat salt to the water softener regularly (about once a month). You can then be sure that there will always be enough salt in the hopper.
Therefore,check regularly that there is enough salt in the storage tank. Use only special dishwasher salt. Normal table salt contains loose ingredients that can be carried away by the softener. Costly repairs can result.

important note:
Table salt is not suitable - it contains ingredients that do not dissolve during the washing process and can damage the dishwasher's washing mechanism. Therefore, prevent problems and use Somat Extra Power salt.
