It has flexible and strong padding (5 mm), which allows it to eliminate surface irregularities. It is padded, with a padding thickness of 5 mm. The surface and fibers of the rollers are closely related to the coating you want to apply to the wall. For large areas, such as walls in an apartment, it is better to choose a roller that is not only larger but also with longer fibers (pile height).

Polyacrylic - synthetic PAC:

We recommend polyacrylic painting rollers when using interior and dispersion paints. The fibers of the painting roller are typically of lower quality material, but very good coverage per m². Polyacrylic has excellent resistance to light, weather, and microorganisms. Washing is only possible in lukewarm water. The strength is lower than that of other synthetic fibers, but the painting roller has a lower tendency to pill as a result. The most common rollers are made of polyacrylic. Professionals do not usually purchase them as they do not last as long, but they are sufficient for regular painting.

Pile height 18 mm:

For painting rollers, the rule is that the finer the roller, the smoother the surface of the paint or coating, while also absorbing less paint in one dip. For large areas, such as walls in an apartment, it is better to choose a roller that is not only larger but also with longer fibers, so we can paint a larger area at once and reduce the number of connections that would need repairs. For rough surfaces (textured plasters or first painting after plastering), choose a roller with an 18-millimeter nap and with a so-called padding (about a five-millimeter layer of fabric glued to the body of the roller, which gives it flexibility on uneven surfaces).
