Metal lid with a diameter of 66 mm is used for securely and safely sealing jars when preserving fruit, vegetables, jams, compotes, or pickles. It is suitable for standard jars with a classic screw thread Twist-off. The inner sealing layer of the lids contributes to reliable preservation and long shelf life of preserved foods.
The package contains 10 lids in a universal design.
Usage:
- Before using the lid, wash and sterilize it thoroughly (in hot water or steam).
- Fill the jar with hot contents, wipe the rim, and screw on the lid tightly.
- Preserve the jar according to the chosen method – e.g. in hot water or in the oven.
- After preserving, leave the jars upside down for about 5–10 minutes.
