Bros Granulated Calcium Carbide Mole Repellent, 500 g

Find the active tunnels of the mole. Clear the soil from the mounds and place 10-15 g (1/2 tablespoon) of the agent into each tunnel. Lightly cover the opening with soil without destroying the tunnel. By the action of soil moisture (or slight watering), the carbide is released into the soil. Repeat daily until new molehills stop appearing. After about 3 days, the number of new molehills will visibly decrease. Areas where BROS-Calcium carbide mole repellent has been applied can continue to be used.

When reacting with air moisture, the granules of calcium carbide become covered with a light brown to light gray layer of calcium hydroxide. Calcium carbide itself has no harmful effects on the human body, but when in contact with wet skin, it turns into calcium hydroxide, which has mild caustic effects, leading to moisture loss and thus drying out the skin, so it is not recommended to come into direct contact with calcium carbide.
