The chemical anchor based on polyester resins without styrene is the most popular anchor for DIY enthusiasts and applications. It allows anchoring into all types of substrates at temperatures up to +35 °C. Thus, it can be easily anchored into concrete, blocks, solid masonry, hollow bricks, natural stone, and lightweight concrete at normal temperatures. Uses of Den Braven chemical anchor:

• Chemical anchoring of steel rods, handrail bases, and screws

• When applied in hollow materials, it is necessary to use a plastic or metal mesh, and the hole must be completely filled with mortar

Instructions for Den Braven chemical anchor:

Drill a hole of the required dimensions for the threaded rod or rebar used. The hole must be thoroughly cleaned with a round brush and blown out with a pump according to the provided diagrams. Unscrew the cap, attach the mixing tip (nozzle), and insert the cartridge into the applicator gun. Extrude the first approx. 10 cm of material outside the hole until a uniformly gray color is achieved. Apply the homogenously mixed chemical anchor with the nozzle to the bottom of the drilled hole, then fill approx. from 1/3 to 1/2 of the hole. When applying in hollow materials, it is necessary to use a plastic or metal mesh, and the hole must be completely filled with mortar. Insert the threaded rod, casing, bar, or bolt with a rotating motion by hand. Wait for curing before securing the anchored objects. The unused part can be reused by attaching a new mixing nozzle. Use a mechanical, or if necessary, an electric applicator gun for extruding the chemical anchor. Pneumatic guns cannot be used!
