BALhome citric acid is a versatile eco-friendly helper that finds its use in every household. It is used to enhance the flavor of fruits, vegetables, fruit salads, jams, marmalades, syrups, beverages, or jellies. Moreover, it supports the gelling process. It is also used as a preservative, as it prevents the growth of bacteria, yeasts, and molds. It removes limescale in coffee machines, kettles, irons, washing machines, etc.

Instructions for use:
- Washing machine cleaning: Pour 250 g of citric acid into an empty drum and start the washing cycle at 50–60 °C.
- Dishwasher cleaning: Pour 250 g of citric acid into the empty dishwasher and start the basic washing program.
- Kettle cleaning: Fill the kettle with water to submerge the heating element, add 1 tablespoon of citric acid and let it boil. Then rinse thoroughly with drinking water.
- Surface cleaning: Dissolve 1 tablespoon of citric acid in 500 ml of warm water and wash surfaces with the prepared solution.
- Stain removal: Dissolve 1/2 tablespoon of citric acid in 1 liter of warm water. Soak the laundry in the solution for 1 hour.
- Drain cleaning: Mix citric acid and baking soda in a 1:1 ratio, pour into the drain, add hot water, and let it sit for a while. If necessary, clean the drain with a rubber plunger. After cleaning, rinse again with hot water.
- Canning: Follow the instructions of the specific recipe.
