Citric acid BALhome represents a universal ecological helper suitable for every household. You can use it to enhance the flavor of vegetables, fruits, fruit salads, syrups, drinks, jams, preserves, and jellies. Additionally, it helps with gelling. It can also be used as a preservative as it prevents the growth of mold, yeast, and bacteria. Effectively eliminates limescale in kettles, coffee makers, washing machines, irons, and other appliances.

The package includes a practical measuring scoop for easier dosing.

Instructions for use:

• Cleaning washing machine: Pour 250 g of citric acid into the empty drum and run a wash cycle at 50–60 °C.
• Cleaning dishwasher: Pour 250 g of citric acid into the empty dishwasher and run the basic cleaning program.
• Cleaning kettle: Fill the kettle with water to submerge the heating element, add 1 scoop of citric acid, and let it boil. Then thoroughly rinse with drinking water.
• Surface cleaning: Dissolve 1 scoop of citric acid in 500 ml of warm water and wash the surfaces with the prepared solution.
• Stain removal: Dissolve 1/2 scoop of citric acid in 1 l of warm water. Soak the laundry in the solution for 1 hour.
• Cleaning drains: Mix citric acid and baking soda in a 1:1 ratio, pour into the drain, add hot water, and let it sit for a while. If necessary, clean the drain with a plunger. After cleaning, flush again with hot water.
• Canning: Follow the instructions of the specific recipe.
