Hold the container in an upright position. For use on the face, neck and skin of children over 6 years of age, spray the product into the palms of the hands and then spread. Avoid contact with eyes, lips and mucous membranes. Also effective on clothing, spray on shirt, trousers and socks.

Are you using the repellent correctly?

1. Use the sun protection product first, let it absorb and then apply the repellent. If you have to renew the sun protection after some time, this does not apply to the repellent unless you notice that the insects are starting to bother you more. It is advisable to avoid 2-in-1 products combining the effect of both sun protection and insect protection, as the sun protection lubrication needs to be applied more often than the insect protection.
2. Apply gently and evenly, and do not over-apply. Mosquitoes can find a small unlubricated spot on your skin. Shake the contents of the jar and spray evenly on your skin and clothing from a distance of 10-20 cm. For lotions and creams, you should also pay more attention to the information on the packaging - they usually urge you to apply a thin layer of the product to exposed areas. This should be enough - more is not better with repellent. Try to avoid inhaling repellent at all times, so apply it in a well-ventilated area and away from open flames.
3. Do not apply under clothing. Although clothing will protect you from insects wherever it covers the skin, you should spray this too, just to be safe. However, test the spray on a small hidden area of fabric beforehand to see if it will damage it. Never apply repellent under clothing. It is unnecessary and can harm you.
4. Use your hands to apply the product to sensitive areas. Never spray directly on your face or ears. Spray the required amount on your palm and then spread the product over your face, neck and the outside of your ears. Avoid your eyes and nostrils when doing this. Be sure to lubricate your head if you have baldness or shaved hair. Repellent can aggravate cuts and other wounds, so avoid areas with broken or irritated skin. Wash your hands well after application, especially if you are going to eat.
5. Don't forget your feet, ankles and knees. Ticks are most often picked up from plants low to the ground, so these areas are considered at risk.
6. Think about the safety of children. Experts say children under two months of age should not use repellent at all. Don't spray directly on the skin of older ones either. Spray the necessary amount on your hand and then rub the child appropriately. Avoid their hands, eyes, nostrils and mouth.
7. Repeat the application only if necessary. A good quality repellent will protect for several hours. However, some of us are more interested in insects than others. If mosquitoes start to bother you again, it means it's time to reapply the repellent. It's worth remembering to do this even after bathing or during heavy sweating, which can wash off the repellent.

When you return from insect-free areas, wash the repellent off yourself and your children thoroughly with soap and water.
