You can start sowing Radishes in a warm greenhouse or greenhouse from about mid-February. Leave a distance of 15-20 cm between each row and sow the Radish seeds approximately 0,5-1 cm below the soil surface, at least 3 cm apart.After the seed has germinated, the young plants should be reduced to 3-4 cm and the soil kept slightly moist.
From March onwards, weather permitting, you can sow early hardy Radishes directly into the outdoor beds. The soil temperature, which is essential for successful germination, should be more than 5 °C. It is worth protecting outdoor beds with non-woven white fabric.
TIP: When sowing in spring and autumn, when the temperature can drop unexpectedly, always have white non-woven fabric on hand to cover the sowing.
