Provide a litter tray large enough for the cat to use comfortably. Fill the litter tray with litter to a height of 6-8cm. Check the litter tray daily and if necessary remove lumps and solid excrement with a scoop and dispose of it in the litter tray. Shake the litter tray occasionally to allow fresh kibble to reach the surface. The cat's litter tray should be emptied completely and washed with a suitable cleaner occasionally. Dry the litter tray thoroughly before adding new litter.
