The species composition of the mixes may change depending on the availability of the individual components used.
The area designated for seeding should be thoroughly weeded chemically or mechanically and adjusted to the desired shape and slope. To improve soil properties, sand or peat substrate should be added to the vegetative layer as needed, and the surface should be lightly compacted.
The lawn can be sown at any time during the growing season from spring to autumn. During warm and dry months, it is important to maintain irrigation of the area to prevent the vegetation from drying out. Before sowing, it is necessary to prepare the surface, which is then gently worked into the soil with rakes (but no more than 0.5 - 1 cm deep) and subsequently the entire area is rolled (in dry weather). An important step is regular watering to keep the entire area moist. We must not allow the young seedlings to dry out, as this would lead to sowing failure. Within one to two weeks, the seed will germinate and begin to grow, so it is important to regularly water the lawn throughout this process.
