How to properly establish and maintain a lawn:
The plot intended for seeding should be thoroughly weeded chemically or mechanically and shaped to the desired form and slope. To improve soil properties, sand or peat substrate can be added to the topsoil as needed, and the surface should be lightly compacted.
Seeding the grass mixture:
The lawn can be seeded at any time during the growing season from spring to autumn. During warm and dry months, it is important to keep the area irrigated to prevent drying out of the vegetation. Before seeding, it is necessary to prepare the surface, which is then gently worked into the soil with rakes (but no more than 0.5 - 1 cm deep) and subsequently rolled over the entire area (in dry weather). An important step is
regular irrigation, to keep the entire area consistently moist. We must not allow the young sprouts to dry out, as this would lead to seeding failure. Within one to two weeks, the seed will germinate and begin to grow, thus it is important to regularly water the lawn throughout this process.
