Mode of action:

Ants are attracted by food attractants contained in the gel. The gel is then carried into the nests, among other members of the colony, where it causes poisoning (both contact and ingestion) and subsequently the death of all individuals within 10 days, regardless of individual developmental stages (larvae and adults). The active ingredient imidacloprid disrupts the connections between neurons in the insect's body. This causes disruption of impulse transmission in the nerves, which is fatal for the affected pests.
