Action of the product:

FORMITOX EXTRA contains two active substances: bendiocarb, which is a carbamate, a contact and stomach insecticide acting on the nervous system of insects. It effectively eliminates a wide range of bothersome insects and insect disease carriers. The second active substance is pyrethrum extract, a natural organic substance with a strong insecticidal effect. Pyrethrum is found, for example, in the seeds of the perennial Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium (daisy), which is also commercially grown as a source of these insecticides. It is a neurotoxin acting on the nervous system of all insects. Doses that are not lethal to insects exhibit repellent effects.

Usage and dosage:

Can be applied in 2 different ways: as a sprinkle or as a water solution. The sprinkle application is done by placing 1 - 2 g of crystalline powder on a prepared base of paper, plastic, or glass and positioning it at the location of insect presence. The insect then ingests the bait and dies shortly after. The application by water solution is performed by dissolving 2 - 4 g of the product in 100 ml of water (2 - 4% solution) and then pouring the prepared solution into shallow dishes (e.g., a lid from a cup, etc.) and placing them where insects are present. The insects subsequently ingest the bait and die shortly after.
