Ratastop Soft Bait for Rodents, 150 g

The Ratastop Soft Bait for rodents is a rodenticide bait in the form of reddish soft paste with a fruity aroma, intended for the extermination of rats, house mice, and rodents both indoors and outdoors around buildings. RataStop features innovative and patented elements, specifically FLUO-NP technology and PASTA PLUS formulation. Thanks to the FLUO-NP technology containing fluorescent pigment, the bait is easily recognizable even in poor lighting conditions.

Due to its fluorescent composition, rodent droppings become clearly visible under ultraviolet light after consuming the bait, allowing for tracking the movement and presence of pests. The PASTA PLUS formulation combines a balanced mixture of food-grade ingredients that are particularly appealing to rodents. RataStop contains a bittering agent that acts as a taste repellent for humans and is supplied in a practical resealable zip bag, preventing the bait from drying out.

Active ingredients for rodents:

0.0029% difenacoum (29 mg in 1 kg of the product), i.e. 3-[3-(4´biphenyl-4-yl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-naphthyl]-4-hydroxychromen-2(2H)-one, denatonium benzoate (a bitter taste component to mitigate the risk of unintended ingestion), bait materials (milk powder, sugar, fats enriched with proteins, etc.).

Action of the product:

Difenacoum is classified as an anticoagulant poison. After ingestion, it reduces blood clotting and increases the permeability of the vascular system, causing the affected pest to die due to internal bleeding. It is lethal even with a single dose but also exhibits a cumulative effect – even minimal amounts consumed accumulate in the body. Rodents readily accept RataStop. Death occurs between 4 to 10 days after consuming a lethal dose, with approximately 9 g of the product sufficient for a rat and about 0.4 g for smaller house mice. The bait does not trigger a defensive reflex in rodents.

Usage:

Place the bait in the indicated amounts into bait stations, which can include various "boxes" such as cardboard, plastic, metal, or wooden, with an opening diameter of approximately 2 cm for mice and 7 cm for rats. These stations should be placed in close proximity to areas where rodent activity has been noted, such as pathways, nesting sites, feeding areas, holes, burrows, etc. Do not place stations near drainage systems where they may come into contact with water. It is more effective and economical to place a larger number of bait stations over the sanitized area rather than fewer. Always replenish the bait every 8 - 10 days, as long as consumption continues. In cases of high infestation, placing bait at intervals of 5 meters for rats and 2 meters for mice is recommended. Using this product should lead to the extermination of rodents within approximately 35 days.

Dosing:

> rats 100 g (i.e., 5 - 7 sachets) / 1 bait station / every 10 m for low infestation or every 5 m for high infestation
> house mice 50 g (i.e., 2 - 3 sachets) / 1 bait station / every 5 m for low infestation or every 2 m for high infestation
