Grafting wax is intended for grafting and treating wounds after cuts and abrasions in horticulture. It is widely used in viticulture and in fruit nurseries. It is used for grafting fruit and ornamental trees and shrubs, and can also be used as a tree balm to treat after cuts or other damage such as animal browsing, frost, wind, etc. It can also be successfully used to treat cuts on one-year-old shoots.
Apply a uniform layer of wax to the graft or the area after grafting using a wooden or plastic spatula, spread it out, and then let it dry, optionally binding it. Soiled tools or clothing can be cleaned using technical alcohol or gasoline.
