Action of the product:
FORMITOX EXTRA contains two active substances: bendiocarb, which is a carbamate, a contact and stomach insecticide acting on the nervous system of insects. It effectively exterminates a wide range of troublesome insects and insect-borne disease carriers. The second active ingredient is pyrethrum extract, a natural organic substance with strong insecticidal properties. Pyrethrum is found, for example, in the seed coverings of the perennial Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium (daisy with dusty leaves), which is also commercially cultivated as a source of these insecticides. It is a neurotoxin affecting the nervous system of all insects. Doses that are not lethal to insects exhibit repellent effects.

Usage and dosage:
FORMITOX EXTRA is supplied in a container equipped with a lid with a rotating cover through which the application of the product is carried out, and it can be applied in 2 different ways: by sprinkling or with a water solution. The sprinkle application is performed by pouring 1-2 g of crystalline powder onto a prepared substrate made of paper, plastic, or glass and placing it at an insect occurrence location. The insect subsequently ingests the bait and dies shortly afterward. The water solution application is done by dissolving 2-4 g of the product in 100 ml of water (2-4% solution) and then pouring the prepared solution into shallow dishes (e.g., a lid from a cup, etc.) and placing them at the insect occurrence location. The insect subsequently ingests the bait and dies shortly afterward.
