Unacite combines green epidote, pink feldspar and quartz. Due to its composition, it contains a truly impressive pattern that is useful in the production of jewellery, natural tiles and statuettes. It was named in 1874 by F. H. Bradley after the original deposit in the Unaka Mountains in the USA. The raw material comes from South Africa.

In terms of composition, it is epidote (silicate of calcium, aluminium and iron), feldspar and quartz.
