Ceys masonry sealant 1500 °C, black, 310 ml

It is used for sealing and filling joints exposed to high temperatures (+1,500 °C). This inorganic sealant has been specially developed for repairing cracks and sealing joints WITHOUT DILATATION, which permanently resist temperatures of 1,100 °C, or temporarily up to 1,500 °C. Once cured, it remains black and does not lose color through whitening.

Properties of the joint sealant:

• Resists continuous temperature load up to 1,100 °C, temporarily up to 1,500 °C, and also direct flames.
• Adheres excellently to a wide range of construction substrates, especially to fire-resistant materials.
• Non-flammable.
• Even after exposure to flame, it does not whiten and maintains its original black shade.
• Texture of a solid material.

Application options:

• Repairing cracks and fissures during assembly, joining, and repairing fire doors, heating devices, stoves, fireplace inserts, ovens, etc.
• Laying refractory bricks

Materials:

• Metal, iron, refractory bricks, stone, concrete, ceramics, glazed surfaces, mineral wool, ceramic fiber, calcium silicate, plaster

Method of use:

1. Clean the surface to be sealed: thoroughly clean and remove mold and dirt from the base.
2. Apply painter's tape around the joint and leave only the gap free where the sealant is to be applied.
3. Cut the applicator tip of the cartridge transversely to make application easier.
4. After application: Smooth with a damp finger.

• P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P362+P364: Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.
